Task On Time (hereinafter "TOT", "we" or "the Platform") is a web service operated from Romania that provides users with a digital space where clients can find professional tradespeople for household work — plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, cleaning, and gardening.

TOT does not perform tradesperson services and does not employ tradespeople. The Platform functions exclusively as a communication channel between people seeking and those offering such services.

For clarity, we use the following terms throughout this document:

• "Client" — a person who posts a job or looks for a tradesperson
• "Tradesperson" — a professional who offers their services and may apply to jobs
• "Job" — a description of a requested service published by a Client, visible on the Job Board
• "Application" — a Tradesperson's expression of interest in completing a Job
• "Account" — a user's personalized access to the Platform, either as Client or Tradesperson

The Platform is intended for individuals who are at least 18 years old and have full legal capacity under Romanian law.

To use TOT's services, you must create an account using a valid email address and choose an account type (Client or Tradesperson). You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all actions performed from your account.

We reserve the right to refuse registration or restrict access if we have reasonable grounds to believe the information provided is not genuine.

TOT provides:

• A space where Clients can describe work they need done
• A Job Board where Tradespeople can view and apply to available jobs in their cities and categories
• A chat system for direct communication between Client and Tradesperson
• A review mechanism where users can rate each other after completing a job

TOT does not provide and takes no responsibility for:

• The quality, duration, or outcome of services performed by Tradespeople
• Complete verification of user identities, qualifications, or backgrounds
• Payment processing or mediation between users
• Advice of any kind (legal, tax, technical)
• Guarantees regarding uninterrupted service availability

Any price displayed on the Platform is purely indicative. The actual terms of a collaboration (price, timeline, conditions) are established exclusively between Client and Tradesperson, outside the Platform.

All users agree to use the Platform in good faith and in compliance with applicable Romanian and European legislation.

It is prohibited to:

• Publish false, incomplete, or misleading information
• Use the Platform for illegal or fraudulent purposes
• Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users
• Create multiple accounts or use fictitious identities
• Attempt unauthorized access to Platform systems or data

Clients are responsible for accurately describing the work they need and honoring the commitments they make.

Tradespeople are responsible for holding the necessary qualifications for the services they offer, meeting agreed deadlines, and delivering work to a professional standard.

Each user is personally responsible for the tax aspects of their activity (invoicing, income reporting, etc.) and for verifying the other user before starting a collaboration.

The Job Board is a space where Clients can publish service requests visible to Tradespeople in relevant categories and cities.

By publishing a job, the Client confirms that the description is genuine and compliant with applicable legislation. TOT may remove any job that violates these Terms.

By applying to a job, the Tradesperson expresses their availability to complete it. Acceptance of an application by a Client does not automatically create a contract — collaboration details are established between the parties.

We recommend that all users confirm agreed terms in writing (via messages, email, or other means) to avoid potential misunderstandings.

After completing a job, both parties can leave reviews. Reviews must reflect real experience and be formulated respectfully.

Fake, paid reviews, reviews left as a form of blackmail, or those containing discriminatory language are not permitted. TOT may remove reviews that violate these rules at its discretion.

Platform elements (design, logo, source code, text) belong to Task On Time and are protected by copyright law.

Content you publish (photos, descriptions, reviews) remains yours, but you grant us a non-exclusive right to display and use it on the Platform for as long as your account is active.

Uploaded photos are automatically checked for inappropriate content. Content that does not meet community standards may be removed without prior notice.

The Platform is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

TOT cannot be held liable for:

• Material or moral losses resulting from interactions between users
• Inaccurate information published by users
• Technical interruptions, system errors, or data loss
• The behavior, competence, or honesty of any user

Users understand and accept that they use the Platform at their own risk. TOT's maximum liability, under any circumstances, is limited to the value of services actually used by the user on the Platform.

TOT is not liable for events due to force majeure.

By using the Platform, you agree to indemnify TOT and associated persons (collaborators, partners) for any claims, costs, or damages that may result from:

• Non-compliance with these Terms
• Content you publish
• Violation of other people's rights through your activity on the Platform
• Services you provide or request through the Platform

You can request account deletion at any time by emailing contact.taskontime@gmail.com. Your personal data will be removed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

TOT may suspend or close an account in situations such as: repeated violation of the Terms, suspected fraudulent activity, publication of prohibited content, or abusive behavior towards other users.

In the event of account closure (voluntary or by TOT), you lose access to the Platform, but clauses regarding liability, indemnification, and applicable law remain valid.

We may modify these Terms periodically. The updated version will be published on this page with the date of the last modification.

For significant changes, we will inform you via email. Continued use of the Platform after publication of changes is equivalent to accepting the new Terms.

These Terms are drafted in accordance with Romanian law.

In case of a disagreement between a user and TOT, we encourage amicable resolution by contacting us at contact.taskontime@gmail.com. If an amicable solution is not possible, jurisdiction lies with the courts in Romania.

Disagreements between users (Client — Tradesperson) are resolved exclusively between the parties involved. TOT has neither the obligation nor the capacity to arbitrate such situations.
